Great selection of food. The staff went out of their way to make sure we got everything we wanted.

The restaurant has a wonderful sitting area with natural sunlight so nice for breakfast. Also, the food is good too and the staff.

It’s hard not to love this place. I have nothing but positive comments on every apsect of it. The ambience is awesome, the variety is u paralleled, they have a deli counter, a counter with sweets, another for general and stuff you can buy for home. Their food is really good. I had the smoked salmon plate and I can tell you, they are very generous on the salmon! The staff are very nice and the food comes out quite fast! There’s also free valet parking at the back! What else can you ask for?

Great trendy spot. I like their process of walk up orders but you can also "shop" the fresh drinks, beers, wine and other delights to pair with your order. It's a fun place to meet up with friends but you've got beat the crowds before it it standing room only.

I went on Joan to try their grocery and eating their veggies it’s delicious and fresh, also tried their juices is delicious, will definitely come back here again

This is a gem of a spot that is perfect for lunch or breakfast. It can get busy at lunch so we had breakfast there and it was awesome. Great food and plenty of tables outside. Really a fun little spot.

Short rib sandwich is outstanding. So is everything else!

Burrata was delicious!! Cute little spot with outdoor seating, friendly staff.

Breakfast Burrito surely will not disappoint you! So gooooooood! Egg, cheese & ham omelet left a bit to be desired. So many great items to choose from! We left with a Berry Scone, a slice of zucchini bread and a piece of nutella pound cake!!

it's fine even if I never understood why some of my friends love it so much

I am yet to find anything I dislike about Joan's on Third, and its a must visit every time I visit Los Angeles. To me, Joan's on Third embraces the urban hip vibes of West Hollywood, while giving you a high-quality food experience. Lots of healthy foods, but also a lot of comfort food like the short-rib sandwich shown in the picture. Employees are super friendly, high-quality food, quick service despite the many customers. Only downsides to comment on would be price and seating, its LA so compared to many other popular spots, the amount is relative, and by the time the food is ready, I'm usually seated at a table. All in all very easy five stars.

Cute place havent conducted business there yet but it's sweet and in a charming upscale neighborhood as well.

Really love the feel to this place. The personality matches the community perfectly. Great pastries and coffee here. Stay with the house brew. Dont have to be fancy to get a taste of coffee heaven!

I got the chicken bacon brie w caramelized onions sandwich on a baguette minus the bacon. It was all yummy delicious. A great overall experience although I was confused as to whether I could sit and order or order at the counter. You have to make the appropriate line and then pay before you sit.

Favorite thing on the menu is chinese chicken salad. Their sandwiches are good too but a little on the greasy side. Love the variety

Amazing place with good options for a quick bite.Do not miss the Short Rib Sandwich and the Fried Chicken Sandwich.

I live right down the street so am always seeing Joan's as I walk or drive by. I had never been there until my friend suggested it as a breakfast spot and honestly, it was pretty great!I came with my dog so we sat outside which was lovely to watch the people walking by- just be warned that (at least on the day I went) you do need to order inside so, if coming with a furry friend, make sure to have someone with you who can go in and order. The Breakfast menu had a lot of great tasting looking items but I stuck with the Avocado Toast. It wasn't amazing- it was actually pretty burnt but the BEAUTIFUL cake we ordered more than made up for it! I'm not sure what it was called but it was sponge based with fresh cream and jam... omigosh! Incredible.Coffee was solid also and the Staff were delightful.Definitely give Joan's a try if you're in the area!

Loved this place! It had a really long line when I went there, and available seating was very sparse. The person taking the orders was extremely kind and knowledgeable and even gave a few suggestions that I wasn’t expecting. Food came out as it was made, some things took longer than others which is OK. Everything was delicious and the serving sizes were well-planned.

Awesome croissants and other breakfast treats. Need to come back for the charcuterie and other goodies. Very good coffee too!

I love their Chinese chicken salad and its good portion for 2. Will definitely come back if I get the chance to visit la again.

I heard they make the best beef sandwich here in LA and well... I don't know this city enough to tell you. But if you know a better place you gotta let me know because are pretty damn good!

Super cute, very chill cafe. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in their beverages and food items. I usually go alone to write so seating is never a problem. I've also gone here for lunch and meetings with 1 or 2 other people and we're always able to find seating . Good!

Beyond. Their salads and their pastries. ..most people come bc of the "hot people scene"..I come for the hot food and bakery scene ;)

Alright. . . I love this place but, there's literally a line out the door if you want to eat at anytime O'clock. That's my only gripe. As far as the food, it's very delicious and there's a wide variety. We got the chicken sandwich and a something or another sandwich.... I really don't remember the name. But that doesn't matter. You really can't go wrong with ANY item on their menu. They're located smack dab in the middle of Los Angeles near The Grove. It's a must stop eatery when you're visiting L.A. Give the chicken sandwich a try and toss some Cholula hot sauce on it.

It is a good place and the food is delicious. God bless me always.

Love all the smells and the food is Great ! Thanks for the love

So so. Not terrible but nothing to write home about either. Confusing layout - it's hard to figure out where you are supposed to order and/or pay, as there are multiple stations around the center "U" area. The small tables around the perimeter aren't the most comfortable, and it appeared that most people were there to enjoy the outdoor patio out front. Unfortunate execution of what could have been a good retail/dining/bodega combo concept.

I was reliably informed that this was the best breakfast burrito in LA- and it definitely stands up to that praise. Exceptional breakfast and a really cool space.

Delicious fresh food, eclectic fun and charming place!

Been wanting to go here for a while and JOT did not disappoint. It's part gourmet market, part bakery and part cafeteria style restaurant. The food and selection is amazing and tasty. Food quality is top notch, as well. My only con is it's super crowded at lunch, and I bet fir Sunday brunch too. Still, it's def worth a trip there.

This place has good tuna. I was very happy the food.just wished that counter people's names louder say the when order is ready.

Quintessential L.A. spot to see and be seen. Delicious and overpriced, crowded and very instaworthy. If you live in L.A., you definitely have been or at least heard of Joan's on Third. It's very #Basic

One of my daughter's favorites! Joan's on Third is a perfect place for a quick bite. You'll usually always find seating, whether it's inside or outside. They also have a variety of pastries and desserts too if you just want to get some coffee. The gelato is really good - my fave is the cornflake flavor!I've tried most of the sandwiches/salads here, as well as the avocado toast! It's a little pricey, but at least everything tastes pretty good!!The downside is definitely the parking. You'll have to circle the block a couple of times.

I went to Joan to try some cupcakes but little did I know that it's way more than that. They have so many food options that it will be hard for you to decide.I tried their chocolate cupcake and just loved it. It was an actual cake just in shape of cupcake. Sponge was super moist, frosting was bitter sweet and the flavor was long lasting. The service was great. I wanted a red velvet cupcake but they didn't have that so they gave me the pumpkin cupcake for free. Isn't that great? Also the place was super clean and service was quick.

The beef sandwich was the best one ever! The pickles were sweet and sour, perfect taste. If you are not too hungry it might be worth it to share, because the sandwiches are pretty big.

Joan's on Third is like going to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket in the middle of the summer. Laidback, highest quality, just an extraordinary Vibe with amazing people and amazing service.
Alicia Thompson
Have been here multiple times and absolutely love! The potatoe sticks are magically crunch savory and salty. Highly recommend the prosciutto sandwich. Really like the spicy pickles on the side and a lemonade to go with. Their deserts are fab too. All around a great little place for a bite to eat and then shop for a bit

Joan's has a great veggie sandwich and amazing mac and cheese. It's one of my favorite sandwiches in LA. They have a nice selection of deli food as well as novel treats and snacks for sale in the market. The atmosphere and interiors are great. It can get busy with limited seating, but I've always been able to get a seat (with a little vulture-ing). It's a bit pricey but it's a nice meal for when you don't mind splurging on simple food.

Breakfast and baked good phenomenal. The breakfast sandwich on brioche, yummy!

Great place for breakfast. First time here and my wife and I were very impressed with their service and quality of food. My wife ordered Smoke salmon and it was very fresh. . I recommend this place for anyo

My second time back here after 3 years and the food is still as good. I think they have expanded with a second store at Studio City. I love the layout and concept of this store. It's so busy and there's food everywhere you turn. They sell fresh food and pantry store items, which obviously is a delight to many customers who wear a big smile as they are looking through the shelves.

Good food, lots of choices, plus coffee, etc and desserts
Jean Murray
Really tasty menu. Loved the chinese chicken salad.

Despite the high prices and how insanely crowded it can get during lunchtime, Joan's on Third is one of my favorite places due to its marketplace vibe and solid American food.Pros: Chinese Chicken Salad; Short Rib Sandwich; walking distance to Beverly CenterCons: High prices; can be difficult to grab servers' attentions; parking
Jeremy Zelikovic
Tasty stuff. A little overpriced. The staff is usually either rude or clueless.

I was there yesterday while walking by looking for something sweet for dessert to take home, they have a decent selection of cakes and cookies, I also had jasmine tea. The service was fast and efficient. There is also some prepared food for take out as well as gourmet cheeses & other products. Parking is almost non-existent at peak hours.
